He came with several cameras and valued all of our ideas, and when we became stumped he offered ideas for us to try as well. He was very professional, kind, caring, and always on top of the game taking photos. Towards the end of our night he started to put the camera away and brought it back out to catch a few final moments. He was on top of responding to all questions before, during, and after. He took photos of me and my husband before the ceremony and got some wonderful shots (it was a 95 outside wedding so this was much appreciated because we all had some sweat on our faces). But before we got Percy and our booking process with eivans it was super simple, and just an overall great experience.”

“George Street was fantastic! I got to hop on a video call with one of their coordinators and she was great. She let me ask all the questions and gave me all the information I needed. I picked my photographer, Taylor, based on her portfolio and I couldn't have been happier! Her personality was exactly what I was wanting and her photos turned out beautifully. The package we paid for came with SO MUCH and for such a good price. I was honestly skeptical that I was getting scammed and just prayed it was all as legit as it looked. It sure was! I paid a fraction of what some other recently married friends paid and got more photos back and other perks than they did from their photographers! We got an engagement session, a photo album, and EVERY. SINGLE. PICTURE. from our wedding day. There were over 5,000 photos sent back to us! Not to mention the use of a second shooter AND a videographer on the day of! We got a highlight version of our wedding day and a long version with every important moment. The quality was amazing! Gabriella the planning specialist, was SO helpful with our wedding day timeline and communicated everything promptly and informatively. The client portal is also very helpful for planning the timeline, updating info/details, asking questions, and viewing our finished photos. Our photographer, Mike, was a blast to work with and we highly recommend him for those in the Chicago area. He was assigned to us about 2 weeks before the big day (due to a conflict with the photographer we were originally assigned) and he made sure to reach out to me right away so he could get to know us and get caught up on our timeline and details. His fun, goofy personality kept us at ease throughout the day, he did a great job wrangling the bridal party, and helping with poses so we felt comfortable having our photos taken all day. “If we could give The Hook Club more stars, we would! Let me get my one gripe out of the way at the top here: I’m pretty sure the only reason my now husband agreed to a wedding celebration was to hire The Hook Club after seeing them at a friend’s wedding before we met. It was the only part of the wedding planning process he felt truly passionate about from the jump – we knew we wanted them before we even had a venue or date and went so far as to clear our potential dates with them before booking anything else. Fast forward, and Dan made the band planning process so supported and seamless that my husband’s one job went off without a hitch. The problem? Despite me planning every other single little detail of our three-day wedding weekend, the first thing that every single guest complimented (and still raves above, 1 month later) was THE BAND! But in truth, we wouldn’t have it any other way. We are absolutely ecstatic with our choice of hiring The Hook Club for our wedding. We did acoustic guitars for the ceremony, sax and tracks for cocktail and band and DJ for reception. THC was outstanding to work with from the jump. Dan is a wealth of knowledge and organization, and brings a calm, cool, collected vibe through every step of the planning process. Not to mention, he’s a great musician who can come discuss timeline with you while also playing the base day of :D. The process THC uses to help plan is smooth and clear. The communication was great throughout – we knew what to expect from the first planning call all the way up to some adhoc timeline changes day of. The band has an extensive repertoire and was able to take in our song, vibe, and timeline requests while also using their extensive experience to guide us along the way. The music carried the vibe throughout the day – from guitars at the ceremony to sax and tracks leading through cocktail hour and a mix of dance sets, slow dances, and expert MC’ing on the dance floor, we couldn’t get enough. So much so, that we extended the end time of the event just to have more fun on the dance floor with THC! Everyone was so nice, supportive, energetic and just brought their outstandingly talented A game and the absolute best vibe. The band got out on the dance floor with us, led us in call and response and a little choreographed proud Mary moment. Our first dance song is not a very common song, not only did THC learn it for us, but they provided us a track of their composition beforehand so we could practice the dance. You’ll see in the pictures my face when I first heard them play it – completely awestruck! That was pretty much my inner face the entire rest of the night in their presence. I have so many fond memories of engaging with THC throughout our wedding. If I could do it again, I’d hire THC without a second thought.”

“Lindsay with Mostest was AMAZING! She helped us tremendously when the event planner for the Charleston Princess quit just a few weeks before my daughter’s wedding. There were many obstacles to navigate including not being able to board the vessel to set up and decorate until 2 hours before guests would begin boarding. Lindsay single handedly transported a car load of personalized details, decorations, party favors, bar items, extra linens, numerous picture frames and a huge Charleston Harbor nautical chart that served as the guest book. She had to take several trips from her car down a very long pier to get to the boat and set it all up in such a short time span. She managed it all beautifully! The timeline she created was amazing and we were actually a bit ahead of schedule prior to the ceremony. This gave us all some time to relax while sweet Lindsay was preparing for all of our guests to arrive. After the reception, Lindsay stayed on board and began packing up all of our special items carefully. We returned to the vessel after sending the bride and groom off, to find that she had managed to pack most of our items without our help. I can’t say enough about all that she did for us, especially with all of the hiccups and stresses we faced the last few weeks. She handled everything with such grace and poise! This MOB was quite stressed with the adversity we were facing that was out of our control and Lindsay smoothed everything out!! I can’t say enough about her!! If you are in the Charleston area and you’re looking for a wedding planner reach out to Mostest and don’t forget to request Lindsay! She feels like family to us!! “Our experience working with Jamie and Ceremony DJs can be best summed up by the fact that multiple people told us after the ceremony they wanted to book him for their wedding and at least one got his business card! I can't imagine a better DJ, truly. When we first met with Jamie, he said he could make people dance to anything and would keep people on the dance floor all night, and he WAS NOT LYING. The whole night, the dance floor was PACKED even though it was rainy/muddy/cold/wet. Jamie took us on a journey that covered all of the bases of the music we love to hear and dance to, seamlessly and magically (?) integrating genres with the best mixes, it was pure wizardry and really captured who we were. We as a couple care a lot about music and wanted music that represented who we were and what we like to listen to, and he did not disappoint! So much prep work went into this, he took patience and time to try to understand our tastes and vibe, and it was so cool to have the wedding played on vinyl- basically, Jamie just "got it" from start to finish and we had the best time! Our wedding also got delayed due to rain and a road closure and he was such a good sport, staying late to keep us all dancing for a whole other hour- so fun! Also, when our ceremony musician was stuck in traffic due to the storm, he was so prepared and had our prelude/processional music downloaded so we could still walk down the aisle to the songs we'd chosen. Overall, such a cool, kind, funny guy who was professional and prepared in every way and honest just takes time to meet and know his clients, and clearly just loves to share his love of music. I would book him for everything if I could. BOOK THIS DJ. You will NOT regret it!”

I am so so grateful we found her both because her florals were beyond stunning and because she took such good care of us! In terms of floral design- Misha is nothing short of a creative genius. She took the time to really get to know us and figure out exactly what we wanted- even what we didn’t even know we wanted. I gave her minimal direction and was completely stunned by how she managed to produce even more than what I could have imagined. I wanted something bright, colorful and unique with lots of personality and life. She provided the most beautiful, colorful and lush florals I’ve ever seen. Also, I am pretty sure that Misha provided even more florals than I paid for just out of her own kindness and generosity. There were so many unique flowers and every stem seemed intentionally hand-selected and placed. We got SO many compliments on our florals! Now onto Misha herself - it’s such a gift that such a talented person also happens to be one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. Misha is a trained social worker and it shows. Misha doesn’t just provide a service, she nurtures relationships. She was very understanding and respectful about working within our budget - these conversations never felt awkward with Misha. She is also so thorough and on top of it- you will be getting updates, regular check-in calls - she makes you feel like you have her full attention and energy even though she has tons of clients and weddings! You are not just paying for one day of flowers (even though they themselves would be worth it!) - you are getting endless hours of her time, creativity, design work and collaboration. Working with Misha was the best decision we made when it came to our wedding and I could not recommend her more highly.
